Conceiving is not the easiest thing even for healthy couples who are imperfect health, so there are many more
problems when there is a health problem. Medial assistance could help you to get over this problem and change
things. First and foremost the problem has to be diagnosed and then a good doctor who has dealt with such
problems in his earlier cases should be consulted. A lot of patience and perseverance goes into this exercise.

Overweight mothers and pregnancy problems
Some of the problems that overweight mothers face is too much of estrogen. Women who have a normal weight also
produce estrogen, but there is much more estrogen produced by fat cells and the ovulation becomes irregular
because of this. This is very much like being on a contraceptive pill.

Another problem that overweight women have is polycystic ovaries or PCO. This has problem has several symptoms
like irregular periods, too much of body hair, acne, and also heavy and painful menstruation. In this sort of
health condition it is truly a very difficult task to get pregnant.

It is easier for pear shaped women to conceive than apple shaped ones. So this means that the distribution of
fat in the body matters and those with a ration of the waist being more than the hips is definitely not going to help in conceiving for a woman. This could be a problem for women who are not really overweight too.

Health problems faced by overweight mothers to be
Overweight mothers to be face a lot of illnesses related to their pregnancy. One such problem that is very
common with mothers to be who are on the heavier side, is gestational diabetes. A diet that is carefully
monitored can take care of this problem, but this could also mean that the mother may end up with diabetes
later. Another problem that could come is hyper tension or pre-eclampsia. This condition does not allow the
toxins in the body to be expelled as body waste but remains in the system causing discomfort and cause for worry too.

However, just because you are overweight does not mean that you cannot bear a child of your own. Go to a good
doctor and take professional help to conceive and then to go through your pregnancy. You could also get ideas
from other overweight mothers as to which doctor they went to and how they monitored their pregnancy related
problems. This will give you a lot of hope and courage to go through a pregnancy yourself.

There are several ways you can shrink ovarian cysts but none of them can be found at a drug store or in a surgical theater. The real way to reduce the size of ovarian cysts comes from natural remedies that are easy to implement and target the root cause of the problem.

Here are some quick tips that will help you begin the process to shrink your ovarian cysts and end the pain.

Avoid Processed Foods

Some foods have been tampered with so much by modern technology for mass production and for long term storage on shelves that much of the nutrients we need for a healthy body have been removed.

As such these foods are converted into glucose very quickly which spikes your blood sugar levels very high. This in turn signals your body to produce the hormone insulin that targets glucose and turns it into energy the body uses to do its thing.

This can lead to weight gain if energy is stored as fat but also excessive amount of insulin cause hormone imbalances that in women can lead to menstrual ‘misfire’ which can lead to large ovarian cysts.

Eat more unprocessed foods and fresh foods and you will normalize your hormones which will allow the body to function better and adjust the shrink your cysts.

De-Stress

Stress is another factor that is not often treated when trying to resolve a large ovarian cyst. If you are overly stressed a lot of the time your body also puts its hormones into a state of flux to deal with such pressure. This can cause imbalances in hormones that lead to ovarian cysts by having too little or too much estrogen and others which need to be balanced to produce a healthy menstrual cycle and shrink ovarian cysts.

Make sure you take steps to reduce stress every day and importantly take steps to reduce stress in your life overall which can cause many other problems with your health.

If you want more information on how to shrink ovarian cysts like it did, visit my site and take action against this problem that strikes so many women and is so poorly treated by doctors.

Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is one of the most common endocrinopathies in women of reproductive age. It is the most common hormonal reproductive problem in women of childbearing age. This can affect fertility and pregnancy. It can also cause male-type body changes. Irregular or heavy periods may signal the condition in adolescence, or polycystic ovary syndrome may become apparent later when a woman has difficulty becoming pregnant. Women with PCOS may produce too much insulin, which signals their ovaries to release extra male hormones. It is the most common endocrinopathy among reproductive age women. As many as 30 percent of women have some characteristics of the syndrome. Polycystic ovary disease is characterized by enlarged ovaries with multiple small cysts, an abnormally high number of follicles at various states of maturation, and a thick, scarred capsule surrounding each ovary. PCOS is also associated with peripheral insulin resistance and hyperinsulinemia, and obesity amplifies the degree of both abnormalities.

Polycystic ovary syndrome is now recognized as a heterogeneous syndrome. The syndrome was originally reported by Stein and Leventhal in 1935 when they described a group of women with amenorrhea, infertility, hirsutism (unwanted hair growth in women), and enlarged polycystic ovaries. Women with PCOS frequently have a mother or sister with PCOS. But there is not yet enough evidence to say there is a genetic link to this disorder. Many women with PCOS have a weight problem. If PCOS is not treated properly, it can put a girl at risk for lots of problems, such as infertility, excessive hair growth, acne, diabetes, heart disease, abnormal bleeding from the uterus, and cancer. Polycystic ovaries are enlarged bilaterally and have a smooth thickened capsule that is avascular. On cut sections, subcapsular follicles in various stages of atresia are seen in the peripheral part of the ovary.

Causes of Polycystic ovary syndrome

The common causes and risk factor’s of Polycystic ovary syndrome include the following:

No one knows the exact cause of this syndrom.

An imbalance in the hormones (chemical messengers) in your brain and your ovaries.

Excess fat.

Family history of Polycystic ovary syndrome.

Genetics may be a factor.

Symptoms of Polycystic ovary syndrome

Some sign and symptoms related to Polycystic ovary syndrome are as follows:

Pelvic pain,

Irregular periods.

Male-pattern baldness or thinning hair.

Weight gain, even obesity.

Insulin resistance and diabetes.

Patches of dark skin on the back of your neck and other areas, called “acanthosis nigricans”.

Decreased breast size.

High blood sugar (hyperglycemia).

Treatment of Polycystic ovary syndrome

Here is list of the methods for treating Polycystic ovary syndrome:

Weight reduction is associated with normalization of hormonal disturbances and the resumption of regular ovulation. It also has a beneficial impact on the consequences of PCOS (eg, cardiovascular diseases, impaired glucose tolerance, hypertension, dyslipidemia).

For women who don’t want to become pregnant, birth control pills can regulate menstrual cycles, reduce male hormone levels, and help to clear acne.

Cosmetic treatment of facial hirsutism with electroepilation and laser hair removal has also been studied and found to be beneficial.

Reproductive Medicine.

Hormone treatment to suppress ovarian activity is a reasonable choice if the patient does not want to conceive now, and is having problems with excessive hair growth.

Metformin can be taken with fertility medications and helps to make PCOS women ovulate on lower doses of medication.

If medications don’t help you become pregnant, your doctor may recommend an outpatient surgery called laparoscopic ovarian drilling.

Natural polycystic ovary syndrome remedies are often dismissed and ridiculed but i am here to say that this is wrong because natural PCOS remedies actually work better then drugs and other more unnatural options. A natural solution that works to solve the root cause of the problem scare drug companies as they are highly effective and do not involve any outrageous alternative therapies for the most part.

Though some alternative therapies can help they are not as necessary as is what you eat and how you live your day to day life!

The alternatives are usually drugs that are usually pushed by badly informed doctors at the behest of pharmaceutical companies who want you to be hooked on pills for the rest of your life as you pay again and again and again.

These drugs do not treat the core problem of PCOS which is insulin resistance however. Once you stop your hormones will go crazy again and you are back to square one. If you stay with the drugs you suffer side effects and often they do not help that much anyway!

Wouldn’t you prefer to have the underlying issues naturally fixed which causes a flow on effect that will reverse the terrible symptoms of polycystic ovary syndrome?

If so, here are just a few tips to get you started on a PCOS natural remedy:

Cut out fruit juice and soda. Both are loaded with sugars that will spike your insulin levels which causes PCOS hormone imbalance. Cut out eating white breads and similar products. These foods have been stripped of the natural nutrients that reduce how much is quickly converted to glucose in the blood stream. Dark grainy breads are better but alternatives to bread are even better than this. Start to de-stress. Stress plays a huge role in your health, immune system and hormone levels. Take steps to remain calm and at peace during your days and you can maintain a body that regulates itself more efficiently.

If you want more information on how my sister and I used natural PCOS remedies to treat the condition and ovarian cysts visit our site and take action against this silent plague that is said to affect one in ten women!

PCOS is a health problem that can affect a woman’s menstrual cycle, fertility, hormones, insulin production, heart, blood vessels, and appearance. According to the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services, women with PCOS have these characteristics:

• high levels of male hormones, also called androgens

• an irregular or no menstrual cycle

• may or may not have many small cysts in their ovaries. Cysts are fluid-filled sacs.

PCOS is the most common hormonal reproductive problem in women of childbearing age.

What are the symptoms of Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS)?

These are some of the symptoms of PCOS listed by the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services:

• infrequent menstrual periods, no menstrual periods, and/or irregular bleeding

• infertility or inability to get pregnant because of not ovulating

• increased growth of hair on the face, chest, stomach, back, thumbs, or toes

• acne, oily skin, or dandruff

• pelvic pain

• weight gain or obesity, usually carrying extra weight around the waist

• type 2 diabetes

• high cholesterol

• high blood pressure

• male-pattern baldness or thinning hair

• patches of thickened and dark brown or black skin on the neck, arms, breasts, or thighs

• skin tags, or tiny excess flaps of skin in the armpits or neck area

• sleep apnea – excessive snoring and breathing stops at times while asleep

How is Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) treated?

Because there is no cure for PCOS, it needs to be managed to prevent problems. According to the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services, treatments are based on the symptoms each patient is having and whether she wants to conceive or needs contraception. Below are descriptions of treatments used for PCOS.

• Birth control pills. For women who don’t want to become pregnant, birth control pills can regulate menstrual cycles, reduce male hormone levels, and help to clear acne. However, the birth control pill does not cure PCOS. The menstrual cycle will become abnormal again if the pill is stopped. Women may also think about taking a pill that only has progesterone, like Provera, to regulate the menstrual cycle and prevent endometrial problems. But according to the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services, progesterone alone does not help reduce acne and hair growth.

• Diabetes Medications. The medicine, Metformin, also called Glucophage, which is used to treat type 2 diabetes, also helps with PCOS symptoms. Metformin affects the way insulin regulates glucose and decreases the testosterone production. Abnormal hair growth will slow down and ovulation may return after a few months of use. According to the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services, these medications will not cause a person to become diabetic.

• Fertility Medications. The main fertility problem for women with PCOS is the lack of ovulation. Even so, your sperm count should be checked and your spouse’s tubes checked to make sure they are open before fertility medications are used. Clomiphene (pills) and Gonadotropins (shots) can be used to stimulate the ovary to ovulate. PCOS patients are at increased risk for multiple births when using these medications. In vitro Fertilization (IVF) is sometimes recommended to control the chance of having triplets or more. Metformin can be taken with fertility medications and helps to make PCOS women ovulate on lower doses of medication.

• Medicine for increased hair growth or extra male hormones. If a woman is not trying to get pregnant, some other medicines may reduce hair growth. Spironolactone is a blood pressure medicine that has been shown to decrease the male hormone’s effect on hair. Propecia, a medicine taken by men for hair loss, is another medication that blocks this effect. Both of these medicines can affect the development of a male fetus and should not be taken if pregnancy is possible. Other non-medical treatments such as electrolysis or laser hair removal are effective at getting rid of hair. A woman with PCOS can also take hormonal treatment to keep new hair from growing.

• Surgery. Although it is not recommended as the first course of treatment, surgery called ovarian drilling is available to induce ovulation. The doctor makes a very small incision above or below the navel, and inserts a small instrument that acts like a telescope into the abdomen. This is called laparoscopy. The doctor then punctures the ovary with a small needle carrying an electric current to destroy a small portion of the ovary. This procedure carries a risk of developing scar tissue on the ovary. This surgery can lower male hormone levels and help with ovulation. But these effects may only last a few months. This treatment doesn’t help with increased hair growth and loss of scalp hair.

• A healthy weight. Maintaining a healthy weight is another way women can help manage PCOS. Since obesity is common with PCOS, a healthy diet and physical activity help maintain a healthy weight, which will help the body lower glucose levels, use insulin more efficiently, and may help restore a normal period. Even loss of 10% of her body weight can help make a woman’s cycle more regular.

Can’t lose weight? Do you have coarse, excess hair on your face, chest or back? Do you suffer from hair loss or acne? Are you depressed? Unable to conceive?

If so, you’re experiencing common symptoms of PCOS (polycystic ovary syndrome). As bad as these symptoms are, the scary thing is if you don’t get some control over this disorder, you have a much higher risk of developing cardiovascular disease and diabetes.

The standard treatment is to take birth control pills or other medications. Besides undesirable side effects, there is no pill or drug that will stop or cure PCOS.

Unfortunately, polycystic ovary syndrome is not a temporary problem. Because of its genetic roots, you will be prone to PCOS for the rest of your life. Therefore, you could end up taking drugs for the rest of your life. If you don’t want to do that, what else can you do?

Get Pregnancy Miracle System Quickly and Permanently Cure Your Infertility

To truly come to grips with PCOS, you need to do three basic things: improve your diet, get more exercise, and reduce stress. Here are ten essential tips for making these changes.

Tip #1: Improve your carbs.

Avoid refined carbohydrates such as white bread, white rice, pastries, candy, breakfast foods, bagels, and other refined grain products. These are “bad carbs” that create insulin resistance. Insulin resistance is thought to be a primary cause of polycystic ovary syndrome.

Refined, manufactured foods in general tend to cause you to gain weight, especially around your middle.

Better carb choices are fresh vegetables, fresh fruit, and some whole legumes.

Tip #2: Increase protein.

Many PCOS women consume too much refined carbohydrate and not enough protein. High-quality protein helps you to keep your hormones normalized. The best protein sources are fish, poultry, eggs, wild game and extremely lean meat.

Tip #3: Change your fats.

Some fats and oils make your PCOS symptoms worse while others improve them. In excess, supermarket vegetables oils such as corn oil or man-made fats such as “trans-fats” can cause cells to not function properly. Saturated fats found in fatty meats and some dairy products are also undesirable.

Better choices include virgin olive oil, flax oil, cod liver oil, and fish oil.

Tip #4: Eat more veggies.

One of the most important things you can do is to eat more whole vegetables. Try to have at least five vegetable servings a day. Eating a significant quantity and variety of fresh, whole vegetables is a cornerstone of self-help therapy for the many health problems associated with polycystic ovary syndrome.

Tip #5: Control your meal portions.

Americans consume excessively large meal portions. The more you are served, the more you will eat. Trim the size of your meal servings. Eat slowly and enjoy a meal. Wait for 20 minutes. If you are still hungry, then you can go back for another portion.

Tip #6: Have salad or soup at the beginning of some meals.

Medical studies have proven that eating a big salad at the beginning of the meal will result in fewer total calories eaten at the meal. Soup is another excellent food to help you feel full without consuming too many calories. Having soup or salad with a meal will cause you to eat fewer calories and improve your ability to lose weight.

And don’t forget, fewer calories will help you lose weight and improve your fertility.

Tip #7: Exercise daily.

We often feel that we’re too busy or rushed to exercise. However, not exercising is a luxury you cannot afford. PCOS women in particular must exercise more than the average person. Regular exercise has been shown to improve polycystic ovary syndrome and improve fertility.

As a minimum, try to walk or do other exercise for at least 30 minutes a day. More is better. Try a variety of exercise. For example, you might alternate aerobic exercise with weight lifting.

Tip #8: Control stress.

Chronic stress from any source — your job, your spouse, your family, your finances — disturbs your hormone balance, and causes you to gain weight around your midsection. Do what you can to improve any situation that is continually stressful for you. You can also work on changing your attitude towards a situation you perceive as stressful. In addition, be sure to take time for relaxation and restful sleep.

Tip #9: Join or form a PCOS support group.

Isolation is not helpful. Find other women who are going through the same thing you are and communicate frequently to give each other support and encouragement.

Tip #10: Consult with a knowledgeable health professional.

PCOS is a complex disease that is difficult to treat. Find at least one doctor who fully understands what PCOS is and has some innovative ways of treating it.

In conclusion, remember that eating the wrong foods — and living a sedentary and stress-filled life — will delay or prevent your return to good health. If you follow these Ten Tips, you’ll be amazed at how much control you have over PCOS and infertility.

I suggest using provera to induce bleeding and start charting your bbt. Around CD 11, start using opks to confirm ovulation as indictated by your bbt graph. If cycle lasts over 50 days, consider using provera to induce bleeding and end the cycle. NOTE: The study correlating uterine cancer with annovulatory women assumed the cause was the stagnant endometrial lining that was not shed at the proper interval.DISCLAIMER The participants in 5WaitingWombs are not medical professionals and do not …

If you have polycystic ovary syndrome then you are probably well accustomed to the pain and other symptoms of this condition. You may not know that a natural pcos remedy can help with these things in a much more comprehensive way that can drugs or surgery or other options. Drugs simply relieve you of the symptoms for a short period but do not actually tackle the real root cause of PCOS which can be reversed and overcome by natural therapies. If this spiked your interest then there is one natural remedy tip that you can start implementing next time you go shopping that will make a big difference.

Stop buying processed foods!

Food that has been overly processed may be quick and convenient and even tasty but there is a cost to such convenience and cheap prices that directly affects your PCOS.

PCOS is caused by insulin resistance where your body has to produce a huge amount of insulin to use the glucose in your blood sugar to power your body. You need so much because for various reasons your insulin is largely ineffective but the more there is floating around the more chance some of them will work. This causes major hormone imbalances which starts a chain reaction leading to the symptoms of PCOS such as acne, weight gain, infertility, erratic and painful periods and so forth.

How do processed foods fit into this?

Processed foods such as most fruit juices, white breads, chips, crisps, cookies, processed meat and many other things are sold in a state that converts to glucose very quickly and as such sends your blood sugar sky rocketing!

With insulin resistance you can see how this is a problem … Your body must produce even MORE insulin to deal with this which causes an even bigger imbalance of hormones which will seriously affect your menstrual cycle and other things such as hair growth and even male pattern baldness.

A natural PCOS remedy such as simply cutting out the processed and eating more fresh foods that do not have such a blood sugar impact will allow hormones to stabilize.

If you want more information on how my sister and I used natural PCOS remedies to treat the condition and ovarian cysts visit our site and take action against this silent plague that is said to affect one in ten women!
