If you are trying to get pregnant, then you already know efforts will be focused on a small window of time during ovulation. However, trying to determine when you are ovulating is not as easy as it would seem.

Successful Ovulation Monitoring is the essential step in conceiving a baby. It is estimated that on average a couple needs 6 months or more to conceive a baby. Thus, accurate prediction of ovulation time boosts your chances of getting pregnant. When is the best time to conceive it’s a question frequently raised. It can, however, be easily calculated and this can vastly improve your fertility.

Menstruation, or as we refer to as period, lasts for 28 days and during this time there is always something happening in the reproductive system. For our convenience we can divide this period into two cycles, namely menstrual cycle 1 and menstrual cycle 2.

The beginning of menstrual cycle 1 is characterized with physical preparation for the possibility of getting pregnant. As the estrogen level rises, this is commands thickening of the uterine lining. At the same time the egg is stimulated to mature and it is released from the ovary in the process called ovulation.

At the beginning of menstrual cycle 2, the egg starts traveling from fallopian tube. At this point woman can become pregnant. If the egg is not fertilized then it is passed out during menstruation.

There are many ways to monitor your fertility to ensure you are trying to get pregnant during the optimum days.

The first way is to construct BBT chart. Here BBT stands for the temperature at rest and it can exactly pin point where the woman is in her cycle and to tell the beginning of the fertility phase.

The best way is to start on the first day of your period and to measure temperature at the same time onwards, for instance every morning. The changes in temperature will tell you the beginning of your ovulation time.

The second way is related to cervical fluid. Generally, the idea is to observe vaginal fluids as in the time of ovulation this fluid becomes of an egg white consistency, slightly clear, wet and stretchy. This is the best time to have sex, as this type of fluid indicates the prime fertility.

However, taking up the advantage of fertile days is just half way to getting pregnant. The other half is largely dependent on our general health and intake of various foods that can dramatically increase/decrease chances of conception. There is so much more to learn about the female body and ways of strengthening the reproductive system.

Taking a natural approach, you can start tracking your ovulation and fertility and then you will discover When is The Best Time to Conceive.

Do you face a problem getting pregnant? Do you have fertility problems or do you just want to ensure that it’s safe for you to become pregnant?
